Happy New Year and Reflections on The Past Years

Not long ago, the clock struck midnight and it is now 2010 where I live. Some places have not quite reached midnight yet, but will soon.

I want to wish everyone a happy New Year. If 2009 was not a good year for you, I hope this one will be a lot better. If 2009 was a good year, I wish you continued happiness for 2010.

Sometime this year I will turn 42 years old. Therefore, I wanted to share a few thoughts about life for anyone who has the chance to read this.

Life is short! It goes by very quickly. I still view the events of twenty years ago as if they were yesterday and I have to remind myself that it really was twenty years ago.

There are many paths that people walk in life. We all live different lives and some of our lives are really, really different than the lives of others.

I remember times of stress. In fact, I count the current period of my life as one of the most stressful ever. Stress can do strange things to people. Your thought process can change. You can find yourself doing and saying things that you would not normally do.

Therefore, my first thoughts would be to remind each person reading this to take time to relax. Get rid of the stress in your life as best you can. One time, I simply let all of my thoughts go through my mind and I just kind of watched them for about 20 minutes. When I got up, I felt 200% better.

Meditation is a very good way to relax and unwind. I have tried several different kinds of meditation in my life. To this day, and in my opinion, the best one has been that of Falun Dafa. There is nothing like it.

As time moves forward, this is my message to a stressed out world: Relax! Take a break from your hard work. Try to keep positive happy thoughts. Negative thinking makes us stress that much more.

There are many problems to solve in this world. Become a great problem solver and you can accomplish much.

Utilize an Eating Plan Journal

The importance of nutritional journal.

When thinking about living a healthier life, dropping pounds is actually one of the easier aspects. The biggest challenge that dieters have to overcome is keeping the lost weight lost. Can you do something to keep it off? The answer is YES! Diet diaries assist you in staying

record your weight loss progress.

The diet diary will help in three ways:

1) Concentration: Maintaining a food journal will make sure that the established goals are in the forefront of the dieter’s mind.

2) Planning. Many dieters who truly want to make lifestyle changes soon fall off the weight loss wagon because they haven’t planned for regular meals and daily exercise. A goal without a plan is just a wish…and we all know that wishing doesn’t make it so. It is a good idea to have meals and activities plans for each day, preferrably a week ahead. It should be realistic, taking into account your activities each day and responsibilities.

You should include details such as where you were, when it was and who was with you. Later, you can use such information to help you identify and prepare for high-risk situations.

3.  You can keep track of how you are doing by making use of your diary and reflecting back. Your journal can assist you in determining which of your habits are helping you, and which ones are hurting you. Keep in mind that you should support all of your efforts toward self-improvement, whether they’re weight-related or not.

Keep a Good Frame a Mind When it Comes to Weight Loss

How do we Keep A Good Frame of Mind When it Comes to Weight Loss? So often we have private conversations with ourselves. This unheard dialogue that is usually in our heads is called Self Talk. Self-talk is very powerful. When you repeat the same thought in your head over and over, your mind starts to believe that it’s true. If you believe something strongly enough, the tendency is to act that way. So many times a statement repeated in the mind can become self-fulfilling. For instance, by repeating to yourself that you are never going to be able to lose weight, you won’t be able to take the necessary steps to do so. The choice is yours when it comes to whether you want to convince yourself that you can lose weight or that you don’t have a chance.

How’s your self-talk? First, see what that little voice in the back of your mind is saying. Are you being positive about it and eager to move forward toward your goals? Or is it convincing you it’s a waste of time and undermining all your efforts? Keep in mind that you can eliminate the bad things you are telling yourself simply by beginning to tell yourself good things.

Top Rapid Weight Loss Diet tips:

Here in this article I’ll list several ways you can change your Self Talk so that it works best for you, and doesn’t work against you!

Negative Self-Talk examples are:

* I’m just a completely hopeless failure. I have not dropped a single pound for more than seven days. My family is overweight so I have no chance at being anything but fat. I must go workout.

Examples of Positive Self-Talk are:

* I may not have lost weight, but I did exercise and plan my meals. I can achieve my goals if I continue on my path of making positive changes. My healthy habits will lead to weight loss.

“Plenty of people watch what they eat these days” I’m not alone in choosing healthful, nutritious foods that my body deserves.

* I make my own fun through friends and activities. * I know food is just the fuel I need to keep my body healthy.

Positive self-talk is such a powerful tool when it comes to enhancing your own self-image, as well as removing whatever blocks are keeping you from your weight loss goals. Be sure to write down all your self-talk as you learn to incorporate this habit. Seeing in on paper will allow you more objectivity about yourself and the efforts you’re making to lose weight. You could even turn it into a diary so that you can record your thoughts and your various accomplishments at the end of the day. What did you do well? Focus on the more positive aspects of your day, don’t zero in on the negative and just think about how you can make the next day even better. Be sure to praise yourself for every one of your successes, even if it seems small. Weight loss is much easier if you believe in yourself. It is normal to harbor some concerns about meeting our goals. If you replace your doubts with positive thinking you’ll believe in what you’re doing and be able to reach your goal. And that belief can help us achieve our goals.
